Tennison implements a Safe Sanctuary policy (that includes a criminal background check) for the protection of our children and those who teach them. Volunteers are trained to ensure a consistently safe environment or all children’s activities.
Tennison provides a fully staffed, bilingual nursery in the Education Building for your precious little ones (ages birth to four years) to play and learn. Care includes snack time, diaper care, and potty trips for those in training.
Age-appropriate Sunday School classes are available in the Education building from preschool all the way through junior high, where they graduate into the youth ministry program.
Tennison offers an annual vacation Bible school program during the summer. Learn more about our 2019 program by clicking here.
During the school year, Tennison offers a sewing class geared toward middle school students. Students are taught the basics of sewing and guided through mission-minded projects, such as walker caddies for the disabled or pillow cases for CASA.
During the school year, children aged preschool and up can participate in an outreach-minded art class, where students practice creativity while learning to care for others.
