“Anger is the master that keeps us out of the world of others by locking us within ourselves.” – William Willimon Anger will not let you have peace. God will.
Where there is no faith in the future, there is no power in the present.
Embrace what is true, good, and just. Those who seek wisdom will thrive and those who do not seek wisdom will not.
The gospel of James says we reflect God by doing. The church is where we practice our faith. We do what we believe, to become what we hope for. Who will you become in 417 days?
Who can rescue you from life’s storms? Who is powerful enough to calm the chaos when there is no safe harbor?
Pray. Trust. Wait. Sounds so simple, but it’s hard to do. Take a moment to think about good things that are true.
